In 2005, I had a dream. My dream was to purchase a vacation/future retirement home in Ellijay, Georgia. I was somewhat hesitant (alright, alright more like terrified) to partake upon this endeavor since my nickname is She-Who-Knows-Nothing when it comes to buying real estate. Well, my fears were quickly put to rest when Miss Ruthie Bailey became my real estate agent. Ruthie is not a simply a real estate agent. She is a real estate angel!! First, she has the patience and fortitude of a saint (she showed me at least 200 [maybe more—I lost count] houses from dawn to past dusk during the 4 weekends I flew to Ellijay to look for property. Quite often, I was the one who would say "uncle" during our outings and suggest we stop for the day.) Second, she has a cheerful, sunny disposition (Ruthie, don't you ever wake up on the wrong side of the bed?) Third, she "knows her stuff" when it comes to real estate and makes the whole house buying process a breeze. She actually listens to her clients needs, does whatever she can to meet their needs, and is thoroughly competent/efficient when it comes to doing the paperwork and providing the necessary "players" to make the closing a success.

All in all, Ruthie is a wonderful agent. She truly cares about her clients and works hard to make them happy. Even after the closing, Ruthie makes herself available to answer questions regarding Ellijay and the surrounding areas. If you want to buy property in Ellijay or the surrounding area and want to minimize the stress of the whole experience, Ruthie Bailey is the real estate agent you should use.
